If no validity period is shown, the quotation is valid for 14 calendar days from its issue date.

Quotations may be revised before payment due to changes in:

The customer is responsible for ensuring that Titan Marine Diesel receives the full invoiced amount after any:

  • Intermediary-bank fees.

Damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments must be reported to:

The report must be submitted within 72 hours of delivery and should include photographs, delivery paperwork, shipping labels, and product details.

Customers must retain the crate, pallet, packaging, labels, and damaged components until the claim has been reviewed.

15. Installation and Commissioning

Marine engines, gearboxes, drives, controls, and propulsion systems must be installed and commissioned correctly.

Installation should be completed by a qualified marine professional in accordance with:

  • Manufacturer manuals.
  • Electrical requirements.
  • Fuel-system specifications.
  • Cooling-system requirements.
  • Exhaust requirements.
  • Alignment procedures.
  • Control-system instructions.
  • Applicable marine standards.

The customer and installer are responsible for confirming that the product is suitable for the vessel and intended application.

Titan Marine Diesel is not responsible for damage or failure caused by:

  • Improper installation.
  • Incorrect alignment.
  • Incorrect gear ratio or propeller selection.
  • Unsuitable exhaust design.
  • Restricted cooling flow.
  • Contaminated fuel.
  • Incorrect wiring or voltage.
  • Improper commissioning.
  • Unauthorized modification.
  • Operation outside the approved duty rating.

16. Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, and cancellations after shipment are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Eligible stocked parts may generally be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery.

Eligible unused and uninstalled engines, gearboxes, drives, and propulsion equipment may generally be returned within 14 calendar days of delivery, subject to prior authorization and applicable fees.

Products must not be returned without a Return Authorization number.

17. Warranty

Warranty claims are governed by our Warranty Policy and the applicable written manufacturer warranty.
